We grew up in Almora, a quiet town nestled in the hills of Uttarakhand, where women would sit together—knitting for hours, almost effortlessly. We watched in awe as their fingers danced to an unspoken rhythm—measuring yarn, looping threads, laughing, chatting, and sharing stories as they worked. Their hands moved like the gentle tune of a morning hymn, turning strands of wool into warmth.
For us, comfort was always found in hand-knitted sweaters—made with love, passed down with care. At Oonnat, we’re breathing new life into that beautiful old craft.
Our exclusive collection, ‘Bunaii’, brings you one-of-a-kind sweaters—each piece slow-made, each stitch thoughtfully placed. Every sweater takes several days to complete, and we spend hours choosing just the right patterns, colors, and textures to make something truly special—just for you.
